Eric Jones is a photographer and graphic designer, taking particular interests in China, environmental sustainability and community development.
He attended Ohio University dual majoring in Photojournalism and International Studies. Upon graduation he taught English at
Shanxi Normal University in Linfen, China (山西师范大学，山西, 临汾), and documenting one of the most polluted cities in the world. Since then he has lived in Philadelphia, Washington, D.C. and Houston working for several non-profits and as a freelancer, while also filling some gaps working in bicycle shops.
He is currently thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail with his girlfriend, and documenting the experience. A blog of their progress is viewable at www.backpackingmadefortwo.com, with a formal edit to be posted late summer 2013.
